BioDrive - BHD 25A/BHD 35A
Description
- Uses chip based sensor for live-scan capturing of
3D-fingerprint minutiae.
- Fingerprint identification with high accuracy and speed.
- Hard-drive is hidden until positive fingerprint
authentication, for security purpose.
- NIST Certified 100% hardware Cipher Engine (i.e. access
to data in the hard-disk is protected by encryption
technology).
- High-speed USB 2.0 interface transferring data at up to
480Mbit/sec.
- Windows 98/ ME/XP/2000 supported.
Features
- Effectively detects fingerprints with scars, cuts,
swelling, and fingers that are too dry or wet.
- Firmware automatically ignores residual fingerprints.
- Scratch resistant sensor withstands ESD 20KV.
- Effective fingerprint recognition technology by a
combination of 1:1 and 1:N Matching mechanism. Low power
consumption.
- No installation of driver is required (except Windows
98).
- “Real-time” encryption of the entire hard disk
(including boot sector and operating system) at 1.6Gbit/sec
using TDES algorithms. Encryption key lengths vary from
40-bit to 192-bit.
- Compatible with Ultra ATA 66/100/133.
