Covetek Australasia is the leading specialist Biometric equipment supplier in our region.  Since 2004, we have been researching the technology and the products, visiting selected Manufacturers, and marketing the best available products. 

Over this time, we have also focused on educating the Australian market about the availability of this superior and convenient form of security technology.  The Media acceptance has been unbelievable.  So far, we have achieved regular exposure in National and Regional Newspapers, many magazines of all types, and national TV shows such as Sunrise and Better Homes & Gardens (see the “Biometrics in the news - television” links on our 'News' page).  Now, we are often approached by Journalists wanting to do Biometric &/or security articles.

Today, we have seven exclusive Distribution Agreements with targeted Manufacturers.  Apart from their world leading products, they provide us with technical, warranty and parts support so that we can confidently offer those services to our customers locally.  Due to our excellent relationships with our Manufacturers, we are also able to instigate both software and hardware changes to better suit the needs of our market.

Biometric technology and the market for it are constantly changing.  We never stop our research and are determined to stay at the forefront of Biometrics, both here and internationally.  Our reputation is now well established and we are constantly offered new Biometric products from around the world.  This helps us keep pace with the market, but we are very diligent in investigating each Manufacturer and their products.  Only Manufacturers and products that meet our standards and the markets needs are accepted by us.

When selecting products to market, we are exceptionally conscious that they are security devices that will be used to protect people, premises and data.  They have to work!  It is false economy, and could even be dangerous, to be attracted by a cheap price.  The first things we assess are the quality, the reliability and the technology version.  Then we look at the Manufacturer, their support, continuity of supply, and the products’ applicability to our market and its ease of use.  Only then do we negotiate Manufacturer-to-you affordable prices.
